They Don’t Know

People say that I’m confident.

People say that I’m always happy.

People say that I have no worry.

But they don’t know how I am at night.

Hiding behind the blanket, drowning myself into the scariest, darkest thought that had been consuming me for years.

And cry myself to sleep.
