Welcome Home

Standing alone at the airport at 2 am in the morning.

Sad, isn’t it?

That young woman was wearing a peach colored blouse along with knee-long pencil skirt. She was leaning herself onto the wall while checking his watch from time to time.

She started to frown and tap her heels after 20 minutes had passed. She looked pissed, but at the same time, worried.

Later, a man wearing uniform approached her with a big smile. That frown that was on her face immediately turned into a big smile, bigger than the man’s as she jumped to hug him.

“I’m back,” he said while hugging her tightly “Thank you for waiting so long.”
